Trip sans Camera Bag
We are heading to the Pumpkin Patch Saturday and of course I plan to take my digital camera. But I don’t want to haul around the camera bag, purse, and other gear. So I’ve decided to leave the camera bag at home. I do want to bring my new telephoto lens but still want to take the 55mm, too.
My solution will be to bring the backpack as it has plenty of space to tuck things away. I should be able to store the lens away from other items and keep it relatively safe.
This trip does bring to mind that it is a good idea to have more than one type of camera bag. A backpack camera bag case would be perfect but since all I have is a holster one that won’t hold the telephoto lens, I had to come up with another solution.
Going without a camera bag is not my first choice of transporting my camera but knowing how much I will need to lug around during the day, I will have to make my load as light as possible. Hopefully with careful packing, I will keep both my camera and lens safe.
